Sacramento School of Engineering is having a CO2 drag race. The preparations have begun.
Starting out with a block of wood then working it into an aerodynamic, competition CO2 car takes many steps – concept, design, shaping, and a smooth finishing profile. This requires much thought and execution to achieve final racing results.
It begins with shaping the block of wood into an aerodynamic shape.
Painting the car according to personal art designs.
Holes drilled for axles and wheels installation.
Then the CO2 race is on for the checkered flag.
