Dual Credit Policy
Dual Credit is a statewide sponsored program for eligible High School Students in which you can receive high school credit for taking approved college courses. If a student qualifies, they can take courses at a New Mexico Institute of Higher Education which will grant the student both high school and college credit. NM Higher Education Institutes who participate with Dual Credit programs waive tuition, while the high school provides most instructional materials. Dual Credit programs give students the opportunity to explore the Higher Education system and gain credits that will help students to succeed in the future as they are exploring possible career options.
Sacramento School of Engineering and Science (SSES) students must qualify for certain admission requirements set by the Institutes of Higher Education. Qualifications are determined by each Institution.
