Sacramento School of Engineering and Science’s Robot team, the Phenoms, received tools donated by Service-Employment-Redevelopment Network (SER) in time for Christmas.
SER National and Network of Affiliates is “dedicated and devoted to the power of life-changing transformation through training and workforce development,” states Ignacio Salazar, CEO of SER National. “They have celebrated the uniqueness of America's workforce and tailored its programs to meet participants where they are. America invites all persons to partake in the opportunity of self-improvement through education and training, not simply a privileged few,” Salazar continues.

The SER donation was delivered by Fred Stong from Otero Stem to Mr. Miyoshi and the students during Christmas celebrations at SSES. With the upcoming FIRST© Robotics Competition starting in January, the tool will increase the current inventory of essential hand tools.
Thanks again to SER National for the continued support for education and training.

Now it’s build time! Go Phenoms!
